How to prove that the information on the Internet is true
If you are using Internet to make your decisions, be aware - not all information contained on various websites is 100% true.
To avoid being mislead, while searching for some useful stuff, follow these steps:
- Cross-check every piece of information you are intending to use for any important work. Just find another source of information that can prove you that this website you are referring to contains true data. Doing so, you can easily filter out malicious content and false information.
- Use "common sense". Everyone has it and everyone can use it. This is your greatest tool to sniff out false information. Just use it and you can be sure, most of the rubbish will be filtered out in an instant.
- Use the sources. Gather more information about the topic using real books from real library. Contact the author or ask your friends that are experts at this topic. Don't blindly rely on what is there on the Internet without proving it's true with reliable non-Internet sources
Have fun doing your research.
