The new product utilises the proven AntiVirus™ technology by Symantec™ known from other applications integrating advanced threat protection in a consistent interface running a single management console and a single agent for quick access to all its features and functions.

Symantec Endpoint Protection delivers unparalleled protection against any known and unknown type of malware including viruses, spyware, spam and other risks. It also protects against data loss on all tiers including servers, desktops and laptops.

Last month Symantec released results from an independent study by the Alchemy Group showing that beta customers praised the integrated single agent technology as being a huge gain towards operational efficiencies and cost-effectiveness.

This study two-months study by the Alchemy Gropup emphasizes Symantec Endpoint Protection’s ability to drastically reduce the CTO of the systems aiming at securing endpoints in diverse business environments.
