Norton 360 Support - How to Add a Program to Firewall Settings

Smart Firewall included in Norton 360 lets you quickly add new programmes as you install them on your system. Some programmes may be blocked per default and they won't be able to access the Internet.

In order to grant them access, you will need to configure Smart Firewall settings manually adding new programmes to the allowed list.

In order to add a new programme to Firewall settings, do the following:

1. Click Settings in Norton 360 Main Window

2. Click Firewall under Detailed Settings

3. Click Add on the Program Rules tab

4. Browse to the executable file related to the programme you want to add

5. Click Open

6. Now you can configure the access level to be granted to the programme:

   Allow	All transmissions made by the application are allowed.
   Block	All transmissions made by the application are denied.
   Manually configure Internet access	This option allows you to customise access rules for the selected application.

7. Click OK
