Norton 360 Support - How to Remove a Programme From Firewall Settings

Removing a programme from Smart Firewall Settings

Programmes can be granted and denied access to the Internet via the Smart Firewall Settings. Sometimes you may wish to revoke Internet access rights for a programme, that you previously inserted in the trusted programmes list.

You can remove a programme from the firewall settings at any time. Do to so, follow these steps:

  1. Click Settings in Norton 360 main window
  2. Click Firewall in the settings window (under Detailed Settings)
  3. Select the programme you wish to remove from the list and click Remove
  4. A confirmation dialogue box will pop up. Click Yes to confirm your choice
  5. Click Apply to finish

You're done. The programme has been removed from the trusted programmes list and will no longer have access to the Internet. All communications between the Internet and this application will be blocked.
