How to Choose a Strong Password

Choosing a strong password

Choosing a strong password is important for your security. Many people tend to pick a password that is easy to remember, such as children's names, date of birth or simple easy to guess words.

Such passwords are easy to crack, and in order to avoid being hacked, we suggest you choose a strong password every time you are setting up a new account.

A strong password should have the following:

  • Multiple capital letters

  • Multiple lower-case letters

  • At least one numeral (0 to 9)

  • At least one keyboard symbol (* > & $ % _ are acceptable)

Your password should be at least 8 characters long. Passwords should be changed every couple of weeks to maintain high password security.
