How to uninstall avast! Antivirus?
Any avast! antivirus application can be easily uninstalled via the Windows Control Panel.
If you're having difficulty uninstalling avast! or your installation is broken, you might try the avast! uninstall utility to remove the programme from your system.
Uninstallation steps:
- Download the avast! uninstallation utility
- Run Windows in safe mode
- Run the uninstallation utility
- Browse for the avast! installation folder, select the avast! executable and click Remove. If your installation folder is the default one, the uninstallation utility will detect it automatically.
To fully uninstall avast!, a computer restart is required.
