How to enter Norton renewal code

In this tutorial we're showing you how to enter Norton renewal code to manually renew your license if the automatic renewal fails.

Sometimes your Norton product won't automatically renew after you purchased your renewal license key. Automatic renewal may fail if the connection to the Symantec renewal centre was disrupted or any other error occurred that prevented successful renewal. In that case, you'll need to enter your Norton renewal code manually, that you received from the upgrade centre (usually by email).

Before entering your Norton renewal code always check if your computer date and time are set correctly. If your system date isn't current it might lead to your license subscription period being shortened. If the system date is incorrect, change the calendar to the correct day, month, and year and do not continue with the renewal unless you're sure these are 100% accurate.

To adjust your system date and time double-click the clock on the Windows taskbar.

Entering Norton 360 Renewal Code:

1. Open Norton 360 Main Window (click the Norton taskbar icon).
2. Click My Account.
3. Select Renew Subscription.
4. Make sure you're connected to the Internet. Renewal won't complete until it connects to the Symantec Renewal Centre to check if the details you provided are correct.
5. In the text area enter the Renewal Code that you received in your order confirmation email and click Next.
6. Your Renewal Code is being checked and your subscription period will be prolonged seconds later.
7. Click Finish to close the renewal window.

Entering Norton Internet Security Renewal Code:

1. Open Norton Internet Security Main Window (click the Norton taskbar icon).
2. Click Express Renewal in the bottom-right corner.
3. Select Renew Subscription.
4. Make sure you're connected to the Internet. Renewal won't complete until it connects to the Symantec Renewal Centre to check if the details you provided are correct.
5. Provide the Renewal Code that you received in your order confirmation email in the text box and click the right-arrow button.
6. Your Renewal Code is being checked and your subscription period will be prolonged seconds later.
7. Click Finish to close the renewal window.
