How to find your Norton product version number
In this quick tutorial we're explaining how to find your current Norton product version for support or upgrading purposes.
On some occasions it is essential to know your Norton product version number. For example if you're considering upgrading, contacting technical support or asking other customers on forums about specific problems and issues with your Norton software.
Luckily, finding out what your product version is, is pretty straightforward. To find your Norton version, simply open the Norton main application window by clicking the tray icon, then click the Help & Support menu option in the top-right window corner and select the About option.
Something similar to this should appear:
Product Name: Norton 360
Version: 4.2.0.12
Serial Number: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Media SKU: 21005227
Current SKU: 20159441
Family SKU: 20136060

The second line shows you your current version number.
After you've gotten your Norton version number, click Close to close the About window.
